Emily Culp is a CEO, CMO, board director and senior leader. She brings to the businesses and boards she serves 20 years of e-commerce and digital marketing experience and a track record of accelerating growth by building consumer brands across channels and geographies. Her experience operating in large corporations and small, private equity-backed companies has equipped her to provide insight on hyper-growth, strategy development, raising and allocating capital, global operations and expansion, process improvement, corporate governance, people management, and risk mitigation.
Culp most recently served as CEO of Cover FX, a private equity-backed clean beauty brand with a global omnichannel presence. She led the transformation of the company by pivoting the business model to be more global and DTC-focused. Before joining Cover FX, she was Global CMO at Keds, where she was responsible for driving the strategic development and creative execution of Keds' global marketing initiatives. She has also held global omnichannel transformation roles at Rebecca Minkoff, Clinique and Unilever. Culp began her career working in the advertising industry, working at leading agencies such as Ogilvy, Arnold and Digitas, where she developed her omnichannel skills while serving global clients like Diageo, Brown Forman, Kodak and Best Buy.
Culp is a board member at Mizzen+Main (an L Catterton and ACP Company), Izzy (a KarpReilly Company), Dr. Whitney Bowe (pending launch) and Gilman Hill Asset Management. She has been recognized by Forbes, Business Insider and Adweek, respectively, as an Influential, Innovative and Rising Star CMO. Culp holds a BA from Wake Forest University and an MBA from Columbia University.
